Option 1:
Open ANY new checking account and sign up for Online Banking. As a thank you for opening your new checking account, you can skip your next auto loan payment.
Option 2:
Open a “Rewards Checking” Account, sign up for Online Banking and add a Direct Deposit of at least $250. Not only can you skip your next auto loan payment — we will deposit $125* into your new checking account. How simple is that?

Is SnoCope Credit Union really going to let me skip my next auto loan payment when I open a checking account and sign up for Online Banking?
SnoCope Credit Union values the relationship we have with our members and wants to be your primary banking institution. The Skip-A-Pay and $125* Bonus offers are examples of how much we value our relationship with our long-term members.
Is there a fee to apply?
There is no fee to apply.
Will I receive a debit card?
Yes, you will receive a debit card 7-10 business days after the account opening process is completed. Or you can stop by the Branch and we can print one while you wait.
Will this affect my credit?
No. We do not perform a credit check for this promotional offer. The Skip-a-Pay offer is not considered a late or delinquent payment. You should have no adverse effect to your credit score.
Is my personal information secure?

Eligibility to skip your auto loan payment, you must open a new SnoCope Credit Union checking account and sign up for Online Banking. Interest and payment protection fees accrue during the Skip-A-Pay period. You can receive only one new checking account related bonus per member and per account. Offer only applies to Skip-A-Pay Program. Delayed payment will get added to the end of the loan. Skip-A-Payment may reduce GAP Insurance coverage benefits or cancel the GAP Insurance coverage in full. SnoCope Credit Union will not be held liable for any cancellation or reduction in GAP Insurance benefits due to your Skip-A-Payment request. Please refer to your GAP Insurance agreement for coverage restrictions. If you have already set up automatic payment or Bill Payment with another financial institution, you will need to stop and restart. Offer expires 30 days after promotional offer was sent to member.
*To receive the $125 bonus, you must meet the following qualifying requirements: 1) Open a new Rewards Checking account and have at least one qualifying recurring Direct Deposit of $250 or more. A qualifying Direct Deposit is an Automated Clearing House (ACH) credit, which may include payroll, pension, or government payments (such as Social Security); 2) Enroll in Online Banking. Once we determine if you have met the offer requirements, we will deposit the earned bonus into your new checking account within 15 days. If the checking account is closed before 6 (six) months of opening, you are responsible to pay back the $125 bonus to SnoCope Credit Union. Additional requirements to earn interest and qualify for ATM fees reimbursement of up to $10 on a Rewards Checking account, you must meet the above 2 (two) requirements above AND sign on monthly to Online Banking, sign up for E-statements, and have a minimum of 12 debit card transactions per month.
